Connect your LinkedIn account or Page

OAuth flow for personal profiles and company Pages, plus what scopes Unison requests.

Updated May 12, 2026·1 min read

LinkedIn supports two account types: personal profiles and company Pages. Unison can publish to either through the same OAuth flow.

  1. 1

Open Settings → Channels and click Add channel.

  2. 2

Pick LinkedIn from the network grid. You will be redirected to linkedin.com to authorise.

  3. 3

Sign in to the personal account that admins the Pages you want to connect. LinkedIn gates Page publishing through a personal admin login, not a separate Page login.

  4. 4

Approve the requested scopes. Unison asks for: read your basic profile, post on your behalf, post to Pages you admin, and read responses on posts published through Unison.

  5. 5

Back inside Unison, choose which profile and which Pages should appear as channels. You can re-pick this list any time from Settings.

Each profile and each Page counts as one channel against your plan limit. A Free workspace can connect up to two channels total.

Switching between profiles and Pages

In the composer, the channel switcher shows your personal profile and every Page side by side. Switching channels swaps the live preview to match the target audience format.

Removing access

Disconnecting a LinkedIn channel inside Unison revokes the token in our database. To revoke from LinkedIn itself, open Settings → Data Privacy → Permitted services.

Common errors

  • invalid_redirect_uri means you started the connect flow on a different domain than your tenant is configured for. Always start from unison.ink.
  • Pages are missing from the picker usually means the LinkedIn account you signed in with is not an admin on those Pages.
