Queue vs Calendar: which view do you want?

Two ways to look at scheduled posts. When to use each.

Updated May 12, 2026·1 min read

Unison gives you two views over the same set of scheduled posts. Both update in real time when you reorder, edit, or cancel something.

Queue

The Queue is a list view, ordered by publish time. Drag any item to reorder. Use it when you want to:

  • See the next 30 to 50 posts at a glance.
  • Reorder a batch quickly.
  • Spot gaps in your posting cadence.

The Queue respects your default posting times for each channel. Drag a draft in, and Unison snaps it to the next free slot.

Calendar

The Calendar is a month or week view. Use it when you want to:

  • Plan ahead by date, not by order.
  • See several channels in parallel on the same day.
  • Drag posts across days without losing the per-channel slot.
